Southport Bowling Wraps Up Regionals, Prepares for Semi-State On Saturday, January 25th, Addyson Rice and Pedro Sardinas represented the Southport Cardinals at the Regional Bowling Competition, delivering strong performances and making their school proud. Singles Competition Boys Singles (3 Games Qualifying): Pedro Sardinas finished 12th in the boys' competition after three solid games of qualifying, falling just 5 pins short of advancing to the step ladder finals. While his postseason journey ends here, Pedro showcased consistent effort and skill throughout the tournament. Girls Singles (3 Games Qualifying): Addyson Rice placed 4th in qualifying, earning her a spot in the step ladder finals. Step Ladder Finals In the finals, Addyson showed her determination by winning all three of her matches to claim 1st place and the title of Girls Regional Champion. Her victory caps off another impressive showing this season as she continues to compete at a high level. Looking Ahead to Semi-State Addyson will advance to the Semi-State tournament this Saturday, February 1, at Vigo Bowl in Terre Haute, IN.
